  • Patricia Nall

    Patricia NallPatricia and her husband Allen have been residents of the Atlanta area for over 40 years and in Dunwoody since 1998. They have raised four kids, two girls and two boys and are the proud grandparents of two lovely girls: Reese and Alix, who are the apples of GG’s eye!! Patricia is very active in her condo community, organizing socials and doing administrative work. She also is another of our avid readers. And as for cooking, her favorite thing to make for dinner is reservations! Patricia has been with us for 3 years and says the variety of working at Southern Comforts is what she finds the most interesting. Every day brings new people and new experiences, which is very rewarding for Patricia.

  • Jane Goodbread

    Jane GoodbreadJane has lived in Sandy Springs since her arrival on the Atlanta scene in 1996. She retired from Xerox Corp. after a 30 year career in customer service. She spent those years relocating around the country in various assignments, so is pleased to be in Atlanta permanently. Jane spends her free time focusing on family and spending time with her sister, brother, nieces and nephew. She has been a member of the Southern Comforts family since 2009 and finds the consignment business fascinating. Jane loves the way in which consignment contributes to reuse and recycle while bringing happiness to people selling their things and those finding bargains for their homes. Her background and experience in customer service is a real asset to our Southern Comforts team.

  • Mark Eid

    Mark EidMark co-owns and operates Southern Comforts with Jenny and also resides in Dunwoody. He is a proud Father to Katherine and Kristine, his two lovely daughters. Mark hails from a small town in Northern Lebanon and has been in the United States since 1976. He focuses on family, spending as much time as he can with both his immediate and extended family around the country. He is customer service oriented and spent many years in management in the restaurant and food service businesses before founding Southern Comforts. Mark enjoys all aspects of the consignment business – from the positive experience of seeing people make money consigning things they no longer want in their homes, to shoppers finding just what they want at a bargain price.

  • Jill Snipes

    Jill SnipesJill and Tom Snipes have been residents of the Dunwoody community for since 1994. Jill’s 32 years as a flight attendant gave her a wonderful background of skills and experiences in dealing with people. She joined us at Southern Comforts 4 years ago and brought that great experience to our business. She has two stepkids: Megan and Benjamin and two “furry” kids, her dogs Maddy and Max. She is a skilled decorator with a real eye for color and pattern and uses that to keep our Dunwoody store looking great! She recently spent her 60th birthday in Paris!!! Jill loves the camaraderie she has found here in our family of coworkers, consignors and customers. She also finds great delight in seeing the varying tastes in decorating that come into the store. To Jill, the lifetime of friendships she has found at Southern Comforts is a true blessing.

  • Kay Kopp

    Kay KoppKay and John Kopp are residents of Woodstock where they share a home with Brandy and Bucky, two dachsunds and Josephine and Bessie, two cats. The lights of Kay’s life are her lovely daughter, Jaqlyn and her three grandkids: Sophia, Gabriel and Joshua. Kay brings a wealth of experience to our team from her 19 year career in customer service at the Dunwoody Country Club. Kay is a multi faceted gal with hobbies that include photography, scrapbooking and bargain shopping. She also loves vacationing on the beach. Kay loves people and says that talking and laughing with all the people she meets at Southern Comforts – from customers and consignors to her coworkers is a great way to spend her day!

  • Angela Bennett

    Angela BennettAngela and her family – -husband Scott and sons Nicholas and Parker have been residents of Alpharetta since 2003. Angela is a Mississippi girl who hails from Meridian. She is a tennis player and hiker and loves the Georgia Mountains. She is an involved Mom, participating in her boy’s baseball program as well as being active in the PTA. Angela is the newest member of our team, having joined us in January of 2010. She is great with people and brings so much energy to the workplace. Angela loves the atmosphere she has found at here as well as the joy she gets from working with her Southern Comforts family.

  • Kathy Christman

    Kathy ChristmanKathy and her husband Marshall have been back in Atlanta since 1998 and are currently residing in Alpharetta. Kathy is a Georgia girl, having grown up in Dublin. She has three lovely daughters: Sara, Jenny and Amanda, and is close to the empty nest as her youngest just graduated from high school. Kathy’s Dad is retired Air Force, so she has traveled a lot and was actually born in Japan. {She’s also very proud of her Dad having been in the first wave on D Day.} Kathy’s interests include horseback riding, her book club and spending time at her beach condo in Florida. Kathy joined Southern Comforts in 2008 to assist in opening the Alpharetta store. She loves the whole process of consignment – from working with her colleagues to helping consignors sell their things and using her decorating skills.

  • Sandy Lee

    Sandy LeeSandy and husband Larry are longtime residents of Dunwoody. They have been in the community for over 30 years where they raised their three girls: Lara, Teresa and Jamie. They are also doting grandparents to Chase and Leighton. Sandy’s a passionate golfer and decorator and says those two things along with her family are where she finds her greatest enjoyment. Sandy has been with Southern Comforts since 2008. We count her talent for decorating as well as her experience in motivational speaking as added assets to our business. Sandy loves to see the many and varied treasures that come through our doors each day and watch as people find them to take to their homes. She adores the people she works with everyday and one of her favorite parts of working here is being able to see friends renew old acquaintances as people from her past come into the store.

  • Dawn Conley

    Dawn ConleyDawn and her husband Mike are long time Atlanta area residents, having raised their children Jason and Alison here. Currently living in Roswell, Dawn dotes on Carsyn and Riley, her two granddaughters. Dawn is a versatile person who loves to sew, read and participate in her church group. She’s also our resident healthy eating guru and makes the best granola in the world!! Dawn’s passion for decor and home furnishings made Southern Comforts the perfect spot for her to land two years ago. Dawn loves the joy of watching shoppers get a great buy and consignors parting with their things knowing they will go to a good place. And, she counts her coworkers as a great blessing.

  • Shelley Kizer

    Shelley KizerShelley and hubby Jack have been in Dunwoody since 1978, where they enjoyed raising their three sons and currently live with their black lab Sam. Shelley loves traveling and finding new adventures during her travels. When the nest was empty, Shelley decided to investigate working outside of the home and lucky for us, she landed at Southern Comforts. Working here has increased her knowledge of antiques and furniture as well as brought her into the world of computer technology! Shelley says the fun of working at Southern Comforts is seeing old friends and making new ones. And, of course, the joy she gets from working with her Southern Comforts family members each day.

  • Laura Maxwell

    Laura MaxwellLaura is a native of Roswell, and currently, along with her husband John and son Grant, live in Cumming, Georgia. Her family is completed by her cat, Rufio and their newest addition, a miniature schnauzer named Gabriel. Laura has been with us for a since 2008, having joined Southern Comforts to assist with the opening of the Alpharetta store. Laura’s a creative soul who counts anything “crafty” in her repertoire. She makes lovely jewelry and specializes in refinishing and painting furniture. Laura is a gifted decorator who assists others in making their homes beautiful. Her creativity as well as experience in the furniture industry is a real asset to our team. Laura feels God’s blessings everyday and especially in the great team of people she works with and the customers and consignors she serves.

  • Cindy Norten

    Cindy NortenCindy and Mike Norten, along with their son Matthew, have resided in the Dunwoody community for over 20 years. Originally from Illinois, Cindy had a 28 year career as a flight attendant for United Airlines. Cindy has been with us since we opened the Dunwoody store in 2003 and her skills and experience have been invaluable to our business. In her spare time, you can find Cindy on the golf course – frustrating her opponents with her excellence. Just check the Dunwoody Country Club tournament trophies and you will find her name many times over! She is also a talented piano player, which is another favorite past time. Her joyful spirit and varied talents are real assets to us. Cindy’s love of people makes Southern Comforts perfect for her to interact with the customers, consignors and coworkers. She’s also grateful for the close proximity to home, as she spent so many years commuting with the airline!

  • Rosemary Hamacher

    Rosemary HamacherRosemary and her husband Jim have been in Dunwoody for since 2002 and are the proud parents of one boy and three girls. She is Grandma Rose to 11 wonderful grandkids. Originally from Michigan, Rosemary and Jim came to Atlanta from Birmingham. Rosemary consigned her furniture with us as she began to decorate her new home and eventually, became a permanent part of our family. She was the first member of our Dunwoody staff, having joined us in 2003 to help us with all that goes into a store opening. She brings a wealth of talent to our team. Rosemary’s interests are “junking” and redoing furniture. She loves all aspects of design and decorating. Rosemary’s favorite part of working at Southern Comforts is the people – customers, consignors and coworkers. Rosemary also brings a flair for decorating and assists us in keeping the store looking great. We rely on her skills, dedication and commitment to serving our customers and consignors everyday.

  • Jenny Eid

    Jenny EidJenny is the founder and co-owner of Southern Comforts Consignments. She is a longtime resident of Dunwoody where she raised two beautiful daughters: Kristine and Katherine, now grown and on their own. Jenny’s nest is not empty; however, as she currently lives with Oliver, a rescue dog, and Grace, a mature housecat she’s had since finding it at two weeks old. Collecting and bargain shopping have been a passion of Jenny’s for most of her life, beginning with her grandmother who put Jenny on the path of hunting treasures from an early age. Her passion became something that she wanted to share with others, thus the opening of Southern Comforts Consignments in Dunwoody, Georgia in 2003 and the second store in Alpharetta in 2008. Jenny’s business acumen and sense of style, along with her spirit have made Southern Comforts into the warm and inviting place that people love to frequent. She subscribes to the adage that “the joy is in the treasure hunt”.
